As the Marketing Manager for Venues & Events Palmerston North, you’ll coordinate events and marketing communication initiatives for our two premier venues; Palmerston North Conference & Function Centre and Central Energy Trust Arena. In this fast paced, exciting role you’ll be a self-starter, able to work autonomously while being friendly and professional. You’ll be increasing the utilisation of our venues, so a can-do attitude and determination to see projects through and completed on time is essential.
Your creative flair will shine through as you confidently go about your work. Liaising with editorial and advertising media won’t be a problem as you’re a ‘people person’ who can communicate effectively and is comfortable building and maintaining great relationships. You’ll hold a relevant tertiary qualification and your experience in managing and setting budgets will be useful as you’ll be responsible for delivering activities within a budget. With a strategic thinking approach you’ll assist in developing a strategic marketing plan that attracts commercial events of significance to our venues from outside the region.
