Opened in 1990 by Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, the Aotea Centre is a stunning example of modern contemporary architecture, featuring marble foyer entrances and comfortable surrounds.

Best described as a multi-purpose venue, the Aotea Centre consists of the ASB Theatre and Herald Theatre, as well as the NZI Convention Centre and a wide variety of break-out rooms, galleries, bar/dining option and exhibition spaces.
