The Civic Theatre

The Civic Theatre is the major performing arts venue in Southland that benefited from a $15.8 million refurbishment in 2005. A traditional 3-tiered auditorium seats up to 1015 people. The stagehouse and dressing room block is state-of-the-art efficient, with a world-class flying system.

Bruce Mason Centre

Ideally located in the heart of Takapuna Beach with stunning views of Rangitoto Island & the Hauraki Gulf, this impressive and unique venue caters for all performing arts, conferences, exhibitions, banquets, meetings and weddings.

Masterton Town Hall

There are three venues available for public rental within the building. The Town Hall has seating capacity of 606 and is suitable for dances, conferences, displays, weddings and stage shows etc. The Frank Cody Lounge named after a former mayor of Masterton is used for a variety of functions. A large kitchen and preparation room is available to hirers. A smaller room situated on the first floor with kitchen facilities is available for small functions.

TSB Bank Arena (& Shed 6)

Positively Wellington Venues can accommodate all kinds of events, be it a gathering of 50 people or a concert for thousands. You can choose from over 26 meeting spaces – all adaptable to your individual requirements. Our venues are located in the heart of the city.

TSB Stadium

TSB Stadium is a multi-purpose events centre that can cater for a diverse range of events including sports, shows and concerts, exhibitions and trade shows, dinners, conventions and community events.

Mt Smart Stadium

Mt Smart Stadium is a truly unique event centre in the Auckland events and functions arena. Our venue is flexible enough to host all kinds of events and functions such as world class concerts, through to sporting and athletics events, along with wining and dining staff and customers in our versatile spaces. Viaduct Events Centre

Auckland's Viaduct Events Centre is a stand-alone, multi-purpose events centre on the Halsey Street extension wharf, at the Viaduct Harbour. The Venue offers 6000m2 of exhibition, meeting and hospitality space. Check out the spectacular view from the public viewing deck!

ASB Baypark

Mount Maunganui's ASB Baypark is located in the heart of the Bay of Plenty in one of New Zealand's fastest growing cities, Tauranga. Traditionally known as a speedway and sports stadium with a devoted following, ASB Baypark has developed into an impressive 16 hectare multi-purpose site including a wide range of indoor and outdoor venues.

The Plaza

The Plaza is South Waikato's premium performing arts centre. We are available to hire for small and large events. Catering, advertising and ticketing services (including Eftpos) are all available. Our newly renovated proscenium arch theatre features a 9-bar fly tower, ample parking, full wheelchair access, excellent dressing rooms/studio with kitchen facilities, gas heating, retractable seats to reveal large floor, and the best acoustics you’ve heard in years!

4TH Wall Theatre

Opening 10th April 2013

The 4th Wall Theatre is a new multi purpose venue. Ideally suited to intimate theatre, the main auditorium is tiered over 4 levels and seats 100 at cabaret tables. The balcony above, has capacity for 30 in two seater leather couches. Full bar facilities, box office, climate control and designer decor. The spacious lower level can be used as a rehearsal or performance space, utilising the permanent raised stage and will seat 80. This area also functions as a green room with removable partitioning and provides full kitchen facilities, toilets and shower. Excellent access off Devon street with ample on site parking. Full compliment of sound and lighting.

Baycourt Community and Arts Centre

Baycourt Community and Arts Centre is the premier performing arts facility in Tauranga. It is managed by Tauranga City Council and is extensively used by local, regional, national and international performances, conferences and exhibitions. Baycourt Centennial Theatre is Tauranga's most widely used theatre.

Gisborne Theatres

Our theatres are suitable venues for seminars, weddings and any other community activity. They are also the district's venues for performing and visual arts events. Our theatres provide facilities to encourage and enable the public to experience the performing and visual arts, and to provide venues suitable for seminars, weddings and other community activities.

Founders Theatre

Founders Theatre is Hamilton's iconic city venue which opened in 1962. This proscenium arch theatre has a capcity of 1249 and is located in the scenic Boyes Park. Founders Theatres hosts a wide range of national companies including the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra and the Royal New Zealand Ballet, international and national touring concerts, comedy and theatre.

Royal Wanganui Opera House

New Zealand’s last Victorian Theatre. This 113 year old, 830 seats, theatre is the venue for many local, national and international events. These events include Grand Opera, Operetta, Tribute concerts, Piano recitals, Orchestral Concerts, School Events, Lectures, Graduations, Fashion Shows, Dance of all forms, Floral Theatre to name a few. Any function requiring a stage and auditorium style seating can be accommodated. Wedding ceremonies have been performed and the stage can accommodate a reception of up to 80.

South Waikato Sport and Events Centre

The South Waikato Sport & Events Centre, set in the Tokoroa Memorial Sports Ground, was officially opened on 1 December 2012.

With an indoor, two court Arena and two function rooms, the facility is a multi purpose facility overlooking farmland and on to forest, that can be used for a variety of events.

North Shore Events Centre (NSEC)

The North Shore Events Centre (NSEC) is the home of the championship winning SKYCITY Breakers as well as being host to many community sports programs and events. Regent Theatre Dunedin

The Regent Theatre takes pride of place in the lower half of Dunedin’s central Octagon reserve. It stands on the site of Dunedin’s most disastrous fire to date, which in 1879 claimed 12 lives. The remnants of this building make up part of the Regent Chambers, to which the entrance stands to the left of the Regent Theatre foyer.

Taupo Events centre

Taupo's largest indoor sports stadium, with well-equipped function room, 3 full-sized basketball courts and indoor rock climbing wall, Taupo Events Centre is the ideal venue for sporting competitions, trade shows, expos, banquets, private functions and family fun! Whitireia Theatre

Looking for a theatre for your next show? Need a dance studio? Rehearsal space? Meeting room? Then look no further! The Whitireia Theatre is the home theatre space for the Whtireia Performance Centre.

St James Theatre

This fully restored heritage building is a stunning venue for opera, ballet, major musical shows and unique conference options such as on-stage dining. Seats 1552 over 3 levels, has space for cocktails of 500 and hospitality areas for banquets of 400.

'The Jimmy', a street level cafe & bar, is open all day and into the evening, and adds to the vibrancy of Wellington's Courtenay Place theatre precinct. Great for pre-show dining.

The St James Theatre is also proud to be the home of the Royal New Zealand Ballet.

THE ROAD TO RECOVERY IS UNDERWAY – THE REBUILD OF THE ITR!
The Earthquakes of 4th September 2010, 22nd February, 13th June and 23rd December 2011 caused widespread damage to our Theatre and to the city of Christchurch and presented the whole Canterbury region of New Zealand with challenges that very few of us were qualified to manage, but we are continuing to work through the rebuild process amongst some of the worst devastation that our country has ever experienced.

SBS St James Theatre

Our doors first opened to audiences in 1936. Now independently operated and owned by a local charitable trust, the theatre continues to bring movies and live entertainment to the community of Gore and district.

Rotorua Energy Events Centre

The Rotorua Energy Events Centre is a versatile, multi-purpose complex positioned on the steamy edge of Lake Rotorua. With it's stunning location in the picturesque Government Gardens, the Centre provides extensive car parking and is also within easy walking distance of the retail precinct, accommodation, restaurants, cafes and spa facilities.

The Energy Events Centre incorporates 10 seperate spaces ideal for conferences, exhibitions, banquets, concerts and sporting events.

The Globe Theatre

The Globe Theatre is a dominant feature for motorists coming from the south into Palmerston North. It gets its name from the unique circular design of the building, the inspiration of which came from Shakespeare’s original famous open air circular theare in London.

The Globe Theatre was opened in November 1982 in response to the need for a modern purpose-built small community theatre. It is managed by a Trust Board on behalf of the Palmerston North City Council, and is available for hire.

TSB Hub

Completed in March 2010, the TSB Hub is Taranaki’s premier sports, recreation, events and function centre. Built at a cost of just over $20.7 million, the multi-focused complex brings modern indoor and outdoor facilities together on one site -located on Hicks Park between Waihi Rd and Camberwell Rd in Hawera.

Clarence St Theatre

Clarence St Theatre is located in the centre of Hamilton and has the unique ability to transform from an outstanding proscenium arch theatre (550) to a restaurant style theatre (260 + balcony 144 seats) to a standing concert venue (900).

Napier War Memorial Convention Centre

Located on the beach of Napier's famous Marine Parade, the Napier War Memorial Conference Centre offers an all purpose built venue that uniquely combines spectacular outlooks with functional layout. Theatre Royal Nelson

After 10 years of fundraising and 5 years of rebuilding The Theatre Royal re-opened on May 31, 2010 offering the people of Nelson and the Tasman region a fully restored heritage auditorium alongside 21st century staging and front of house facilities.

Forum North

Forum North, is Northland’s top Performance, Conference and Expo centre, Located just 2 hours from central Auckland. The venue is unrivalled in Northland for its versatility and our professional staff are happy to accommodate your every need, from setting up your event to marketing it. Forum North in its entirety can be hired for large events like festivals and Expo’s, or on a smaller scale for meetings and cocktails. Staging, lighting and all technical services are available for hire and we will do anything to make your event a success.

Hawke's Bay Museum & Art Gallery

Home to Hawke's Bays great treasures: Hawke's Bay Museum & Art Gallery is a place of stories, heritage, art and artefacts - a place where visitors can explore and enjoy New Zealand's vibrant cultural history. The Hawke's Bay Museum & Art Gallery (HBMAG) is currently closed in order to undertake a significant redevelopment project that will repackage the exterior to match the wealth within, and scheduled to reopen in 2013.

Floor Pride Marlborough Civic Theatre

Ashburton Trust Event Centre

This brand new facility completed in May 2008 is set in the Ashburton CBD; the heart of Mid Canterbury; located only one hour's drive south of Christchurch International Airport. As the largest town in Mid Canterbury, Ashburton is the hub of the district with a friendly rural feel and flavour.

Owen Delany Park

Owen Delany Park, Taupo's largest multi purpose premium sportsground with a capacity of 25,000 is capable of hosting a variety of sporting and recreational events.

North Harbour Stadium

North Harbour Stadium is the North Shore's largest sporting venue and includes the Harbour Function Centre. Opened in 1997, our architecturally designed, 25-000 seat Stadium is purpose built for New Zealand's favourite sporting codes of rugby union, rugby league and football, and we are a popular venue for outdoor concerts and entertainment events.

Victory Convention Centre

Victory Convention Centre is a fabulous multipurpose complex located at the hub of Victoria Park Tunnel exit, Fanshawe Street Interchange and tree-lined Victoria Park. VCC is an excellent domain for conferences, symposiums, seminars, and private functions. With its beautiful bespoke 2,240 seat tiered theatre; low curving foyer; and several sized break-out rooms, VCC caters for a spectrum of events from large conventions and seminars to small training sessions.

Oamaru Opera House

The beautiful Oamaru Opera House stands resplendent in historic Thames Street Oamaru, New Zealand. Built over a century ago the Oamaru Opera House is still the first choice for quality entertainment, meeting space and conferencing in North Otago.

The Oamaru Opera House is one of the most significant heritage places in Oamaru, important to the town and nationally to New Zealand for its historic, social, aesthetic and scientific values. This is recognised by its registration under the Historic Places Act and its listing on the District Plan. Registered as Category II under section 22 of the Historic Places Act 1993 The Oamaru Opera House is regarded as a place of ‘historical or cultural significance or value’.

Civic Theatre - THE EDGE®

A rich history suffuses Auckland's most spectacular and prestigious music theatre and function venue. Built in 1929, The Civic was an outstanding example of the 'atmospheric cinema' with a unique soft-top design that floats above the auditorium, allowing the famed stars effect (the effect is a recreation of the actual Southern Hemisphere skyscape). The Civic boasts an international standard 2350-seat lyric theatre as well as a number of unique bar and function spaces, such as the Winter Garden, the Safari Room and the Taj Mahal Room.

Yarrow Stadium

Regent on Broadway

When the Regent Theatre opened on 4 July 1930 it was described as “The Theatre Beautiful”, and that it was creating “an entirely new standard of entertainment.” With the re-opening as the Regent on Broadway in 1 May 1998 that description could still stand. Today, as a 1393 seat venue, the Regent on Broadway can still claim to be one of New Zealand’s finest performing arts facilities, indeed one of the top four in the country.

Great Lake Centre

Rotorua Convention Centre

The Meteor

Hawera Community Centre

Hawera Community Centre incorporates the Memorial Theatre, Community Hall and two meeting lounges The Memorial Theatre capacity is 333 people.

Q Theatre

Artistic experiences that transport people out of the everyday, that’s what we do. Our two flexi-form performance spaces create entirely contrasting experiences. Rangatira is an aspirational and challenging auditorium, its name reflecting the energy of the room and our specific locale in Aotearoa. Loft is an intimate multi-use performance area, with a touch of poetic license.

Hawkins Theatre - Papakura

The Hawkins Theatre - Papakura opened on the 14th July 1990 by Governor General Paul Reeves, and was an exciting step for the community as the first purpose-built facility for the arts in the District. The facility won commendation for its design in the 1990 NZIA awards, with the jury saying that while the Italianate form and size of the structure were large, the building successfully defined the public importance of the facility and its purpose.

The Dunedin Centre

From January 2013, Dunedin will offer the very best in conference, exhibition and performance facilities within its fully redeveloped and upgraded Dunedin Convention and Exhibition Centre. Integrating three of New Zealand's most significant heritage buildings into a single state of the art complex, the Dunedin Centre will set a new standard with its events and meeting venues rebuilt to the highest specification.

TSB Bowl of Brooklands

The TSB Bowl of Brooklands is a unique venue comprising an impressive outdoor sound stage and a large grass amphitheatre set against the backdrop of New Plymouth’s Pukekura Park. The bowl is a spectacular venue for summer concerts and when night comes, visitors and performers are spellbound as the lighting on the stage and surrounding trees takes effect.

Vodafone Events Centre

Mangere Arts Centre

Mangere Arts Centre - Ngā Tohu o Uenuku was designed to meet the needs of the culturally diverse and vibrant Mangere community. The purpose-built complex nurtures and presents the diversity of arts, crafts and cultural activities that underpin the unique character of Mangere’s 60,000 people. It will be a source of great pride to Mangere and will create ways of connecting Mangere with other New Zealanders by showcasing Mangere as an important creative and cultural hub.

Maidment Arts Centre, Auckland University

Seating up to 448 people the Maidment Theatre is an attractive, air-conditioned space with good acoustics and clear views of the stage from every seat. As well as performance space and ticketing we also provide skilled theatre technicians, equipment, front of house management, catering and bar services.

Rainbow Springs

Gallagher Academy of Performing Arts, University of Waikato

The Gallagher Academy of Performing Arts is a purpose-built, multiple-venue, award-winning performing arts building on the University of Waikato campus on the eastern side of Hamilton. It contains two main theatres, the Dr John Gallagher Concert Chamber and the Playhouse Theatre.

The Trusts Arena

CBS Canterbury Arena

CBS Canterbury Arena is located in Christchurch's newest business hub, Addington an easy 15 minute drive from the airport. Built in 1998, the Arena is one of the New Zealand's largest purpose-built indoor sporting and entertainment venues. When it is not playing host to sporting teams or world-renowned artists, it is used to host exhibitions, meetings, trade shows and gala dinners.

Trafalgar Centre

The Trafalgar Centre is the largest indoor multi-purpose events centre in the Nelson / Tasman Region. Built in the early 1970s as a sports stadium, the Centre also hosts major cultural and entertainment events and exhibitions. As well as the main stadium, it features the Victory Room, a popular venue for smaller events. The Trafalgar Centre re-opened in February 2009 after undergoing a major $7m upgrade.

Turner Centre

Located at Kerikeri, commercial hub of the Bay of Islands, and serving the greater Far North District, this purpose-designed complex contains state-of-the-art features and a parallel commitment to customer service.

The John Dalton Theatre has 400 seats, the Theatre Bar for small recitals (100), the Events Centre for Cabarets and presentations (200) and The Plaza (400) – recently completed flat hall and stage, which combined with the Events Centre can accommodate 1500 – standing – for live bands.

Pettigrew.Green Arena

Hawkes Bay's Regional Indoor Sport & Event Centre - Pettigrew.Green Arena is the premier all - weather sports & events centre in sunny Hawkes Bay. The Arena itself has a seating capacity of 2500 people, catering for regional, national & international sports, conferences, expos, music concerts, dinners & balls. There are a number of function/meeting rooms available, we cater for groups of 10 to 4000 people! 3 state-of-the-art squash courts, aerobics/dance studio, a sports science lab, consultancy rooms and an impressive fitness centre; Arena Gym, complete the facility, making it a truly all-purpose venue & the focus for sports in the Hawkes Bay.

McLean Park

The McLean Park complex comprises an indoor stadium - the Rodney Green Centennial Event Centre - with an international standard outdoor sportsground and stands. The park's predominant uses are rugby and cricket at international and provincial levels. Other events held on the park have included pipe band contests, displays and marching competitions.

TSB Showplace

The TSB Showplace in New Plymouth, Taranaki, is the region’s main theatre and conference venue. The complex has the flexibility to cater for intimate dinners for six through to large international touring productions and conferences requiring a capacity of close to 1,000. The main venues at the TSB Showplace are – the TSB Theatre (formerly the New Plymouth Opera House), the Theatre Royal and the Alexandra Room. Break out areas and bar/lounge options are available along with contemporary catering and a highly skilled and experienced support team.

As a world class venue, Vector Arena can accommodate over 12,000 people, and, as New Zealand’s largest premier multi-purpose, indoor, all weather arena, Vector Arena is home to a diverse range of entertainment & sporting events. Vector Arena is proudly funded and developed by Auckland City Council under the management of QPAM Ltd, and has set a new standard for the type of events staged in New Zealand.

Te Rauparaha Arena

The Centennial Centre was funded by the Auckland Grammar Old Boys’ Association and was presented to the School for the purpose of extending its pupils’ education in theatre skills. With a tiered auditorium and seating for up to 361, this venue is ideal for performances, concerts, functions and business events.
