Solid Energy Events Centre

The Buller District Council constructed a brand new purpose built recreation and events centre which opened in February 2009.  It is centrally located in Westport, the centre has been designed as the recreation, sporting and eventing hub.
Location
Located on the corner of Henley and Domett Streets, a few minutes walk from Westport’s main town street. Westport is the West Coast's second largest town, with a commercial port and airport. Westport airport (just 5km from the town centre), has regular daily flights to and from the capital city, Wellington.

With good driving access from the top of the south, finding your way is simple. Westport offers a wide range of friendly hotels, motels and luxury lodges and vehicle hire.

Buller is a diverse and spectacular district, from mountain to sea. With an enviable climate, laid back lifestyle and welcoming community environment, Buller is a great place to take a break, host a conference, hold an event or gather for competition.
