Vector Arena

As a world class venue, Vector Arena can accommodate over 12,000 people, and, as New Zealand’s largest premier multi-purpose, indoor, all weather arena, Vector Arena is home to a diverse range of entertainment & sporting events.  Vector Arena is proudly funded and developed by Auckland City Council under the management of QPAM Ltd, and has set a new standard for the type of events staged in New Zealand.

Situated in Auckland, the largest city of the Pacific, design elements of Vector Arena, take inspiration from our rich cultural values and heritage. The land’s owner, the local Maori iwi (tribe), Ngati Whatua o Orakei; has and continues to be a keen and integral supporter of Vector Arena.

The architecture of the building and its artwork are a tribute to the legacy left by Tohunga Titahi and the people of the Ngati Whatua. As we honour our past through artistic expression our homage is perfectly interwoven with technical sophistication and international excellence in design and construction.
