CHRISTCHURCH STADIUM ALL BLACKS SCHOLARSHIP

SCHOLARSHIP Date: 25 - 28 August 2022

Venues Otautahi is offering the opportunity to attend the All Blacks  game against Argentina on 27 August. This is an excellent opportunity for managers or staff from other EVANZ member venues to learn and observe processes and systems put in place by Venues Otautahi to manage events under its control. Arriving in Christchurch on the Thursday before the game, you'll shadow and have exposure to key members of the delivery team, see the set up being finalised and attend briefings and operational meetings. Be prepared to work!

What's Involved:

• Recipients must be available to attend the event in Christchurch from Thursday 25 August to Sunday 28 August.
  

• EVANZ will contribute up to $250 per recipient to assist with accommodation or travel costs.
  

• Recipients must be available to deliver a presentation about their experience at the EVANZ end of year Conference in Wellington in November.

• You will need to include a summary of your career history and future goals (max 150 words);
  

• You will need to upload a letter of recommendation from your employer or venue manager.
  

Terms and Conditions:

• One person will be awarded the scholarship.  Any EVANZ member venue can apply. 
  

• The scholarship must be taken on the specified date in August 2022.
  
• Venues Otautahi will provide training in the areas indicated on the application form.
  
• A recipient of the scholarship cannot apply again at any time in the future.
  
• A member venue can apply on behalf of one staff member only.
  
• The scholarship is not transferable to another person from the same venue or any other venue.
  
• The successful applicants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation arrangements. EVANZ will subsidise these costs with a grant of up to $250 per scholarship recipient. Accommodation deals may be available so it is recommended recipients check with Venues Otautahi before booking accommodation. 
  
• The successful applicant must prepare a written report at the conclusion of the Scholarship, to be submitted to Venues Otautahi and EVANZ. The applicant will be required to present this report at the end of year Conference in Wellington.
  

REVIEW PANEL:

The review panel will consist of one representative from Venues Otautahi and the EVANZ Board Learning & Development Sub Committee members . Review Panel decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
