    Mō te Tūranga | About the Role

    As the Sales Manager for Live Events and Entertainment, you will be responsible for implementing

    sales and business development activities to generate business from the Live Events and

    Entertainment market. Your role will involve generating new business opportunities with New

    Zealand and international promoters and entertainment agencies, as well as managing existing client

    accounts. You will develop and maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders to exceed

    NZICC revenue targets.

     Generate new business opportunities within the New Zealand and international Live Events

    and Entertainment market.

     Manage and develop relationships with promoters, entertainment agencies, and local

    community groups.

     Contribute to and participate in NZICC and partner sales strategies and activities.

     Conduct sales calls, client entertaining, networking events, and other lead-generating

    activities.

     Prepare and present proposals.

     Ensure accurate and relevant event information is input into the booking management

    system.

     Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

     Provide solutions to customer problems and ensure a seamless customer journey.

     Report on future and secured business on a weekly basis.

     Prepare comprehensive handover meetings with the Event Planning Manager to ensure

    smooth transitions for clients.

    Mōu | About You

     Proven experience in a sales, business development, or operational role within the Live

    Events and Entertainment industry.

     Successful track record in developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and

    partners.

     Exceptional written, oral, and listening skills.

     Strong negotiation and influencing skills.

     Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with major ticketing agencies.

     Confident decision maker with strong administrative skills and advanced computer literacy.

     Preferred: Tertiary qualifications in tourism, hospitality, business, or related discipline, and

    experience with the Momentus Enterprises booking management system.
